About Metro

Metro is an underground (really, really, underground, like so underground it's unheard-of) 'zine produced by Leah Budin.

It is making fun of Cosmo.

Satire is good for the soul.

The first issue was xeroxed on the Wyoming Seminary Kirby Library Xerox Copier in March 2002. The second issue was subsequently reproduced in the same manner in April 2002.

It started out as an extra-credit project and degenerated from there.

They will be churned out during the Wyoming Seminary School Year.
(They will NOT be churned out over the summer because Leah, the writer, editor, layout artist, refuses to hand Staples/Office Max her cash and Kirby Xerox is free.)

They will be shown on the Internet (without graphics) at this site.
(When Leah feels like it.)

Each is about thirty-five pages long, including "advertisements" which are real advertisements with the words cut out and little Leah witticisms written in.

Each contains:
a) a letter from the editor
b) a news page
c) a section of "ask [insert whoever here]"s.
d) a wide array of features
e) "advertisements" (graphics, not to be shown here)
f) perspectives
g) and, finally, "the last page" which is generally something silly

Occasionally there is a "letters from the readers" section.

This next issue may have a comics section if I ever get around to it.

Any and all questions can be sent to shatteredfeathers@yahoo.com and Leah may or may not reply. Depending on how much of an asshole you are.
